Tartan Baseball Outplays Sage Hill for 9-2 Win

St. Margaret's kept its league unbeaten streak alive with the victory on Tuesday.
St. Margaret's baseball team picked up another league victory Tuesday afternoon, downing Sage Hill School 9-2 to improve to 5-1 (2-0 in league).
 
The Tartans received excellent pitching support from Andrew Miehe (three innings pitched, three hits, four strikeouts and zero earned runs) with a relief effort by Charley Gianulias (four innings pitched, zero hits, zero earned runs and three strikeouts), who recorded the win.
 
St. Margaret's offense was led by Miehe, who went 3-3 with three RBIs and a two-run home run, Max Page (2-2, with two doubles and two runs) and Spencer Olvera-Harle, who slammed a bases-loaded triple to put the game out of reach of the Lightning in the bottom of the 5th.
 
The Tartans will travel to take on Jurupa Valley on Friday, March 18.
