St. Margaret's Boys Volleyball Sinks Dolphins 3-0

The Tartans continue their winning ways against non-league opponents.
St. Margaret's boys volleyball team defeated visiting Dana Hills High School 3-0 in non-league action Thursday evening.
 
The Tartans relied on a solid overall hitting performance with 42 kills in 88 attempts with a team efficiency of .330 to notch the win. Russell Fry led St. Margaret's with a .474 hitting efficiency and 10 kills, while Reed Wainwright had 19 kills and a .350 hitting efficiency. Sam Harbey led the Tartans in blocks with one solo and three block assists.
 
"We were able to get a few more kills out of the middle attack, which will be more and more critical as the season progresses," said head coach Bob Yoder.
 
The Tartans will open league play on Wednesday, March 16, facing off against Sage Hill School on the road.
