Tartan Golf Notches First Win of Season

St. Margaret's downed Rosary 211-257 on Tuesday.
St. Margaret's girls golf program picked up its first victory of the 2021 campaign, defeating Rosary High School 211-257 at San Juan Hills Golf Course on August 31.
 
The Tartans were led by freshman Maddie Lewis's three-over-par round of 39. Lewis recorded one birdie, capturing the medalist award for the match. Sophomore Gabby Eifrig and junior Kate Lee each had a birdie on their way to a matching score of 40 for the round. Freshman Makenna Cox supported the Tartans with a 45, while sophomore Rianne Ke shot a 47.
 
St. Margaret's will next face JSerra at Aliso Creek Golf Club on Tuesday, September 7. Tee time is set for 3 p.m.
