St. Margaret's Appoints Megan Armes as Head Girls Lacrosse Coach

Armes has been named the new girls lacrosse head coach, effective immediately.
St. Margaret's Episcopal School is pleased to announce today's appointment of Megan Armes as head coach of the Tartan girls lacrosse program.

Armes joins St. Margaret's after her tenure as an assistant coach of girls lacrosse at JSerra High School. Previously, Armes also served as an assistant coach at Mission Viejo High School. Armes also serves as co-head coach for the SoCal Express National Team.

Armes was a four-year member of the NCAA Div. I St. Mary's College of California women's lacrosse team. At St. Mary's, Armes attained Mountain Pacific Sports Federation All-Academic Honors 2013-2015 and was named MPSF All-League in 2014. Armes was a captain for Mission Viejo High School and a 2010 U.S. Lacrosse High School All-American.

"I am humbled and beyond excited at the opportunity to lead and learn from this incredible group of student-athletes," said coach Armes. "It's my goal to share my knowledge and experience of the game while preparing them for life beyond the sport. I can't wait to get started."

"I am excited to have Megan Armes join our coaching staff to run our girls lacrosse program. Her experience as both a player and coach are impeccable," said St. Margaret's Director of Athletics Chris Nordstrom. "I look forward to her leading these young women both on and off the field."
