Tartans Rout Great Oak 21-1 in Opening Round of CIF-SS Playoffs
St. Margaret's jumped out to an early lead and never looked back.
St. Margaret's boys lacrosse opened the CIF-SS Lacrosse Playoffs with a commanding 21-1 win over visiting Great Oak High School. The No. 4 Tartans had eight different goal scorers in the lopsided win.
Owen Binder led scorers with seven goals and one assist, while Seth Forstot contributed six goals and two assists. Matthew Groeninger (1g, 4a) and Makai Todd (1g, 5a) were playmakers all evening for the Tartans.
Face-off man Bobby Springer went 19/24 at the X to keep the Tartans in control.
The Tartans will advance to face Sierra Canyon High School on Friday, May 28, at home. Game time is TBA.
