St. Margaret's Girls Basketball Ends Season on High Note
The Tartans defeated The Webb Schools 46-30.
St. Margaret's closed out the girls basketball season with a win, defeating visiting Webb 46-30 in league action Wednesday evening. Eight Tartans scored, with junior Mandy Taylor and senior captain Alice Korolev leading the way with 14 and 12 points, respectively. Senior captain Tiana Pavia dealt a game-high six assists, and freshman Stella McKnight was perfect from beyond the arc with two three-pointers.
The Tartans ended the season 5-12 and 2-6 in league and capped the 2021 campaign by honoring their senior captains Alice Korolev and Tiana Pavia.
"The evening was a fitting celebration of our two senior captains," said the Tartan coaching staff. "The energy level was high, and the team joyfully played their most complete game of the season."
