Tartan Open Welcomes More Than 100 Golfers in Support of St. Margaret’s Financial Aid Program

The Tartan Open is traditionally one of the top fundraisers for St. Margaret’s need-based Financial Aid program.
St. Margaret’s welcomed more than 100 golfers to El Niguel Country Club in Laguna Niguel for the Tartan Open, a cherished annual fundraiser for the school’s Financial Aid program.

It was one of the first in-person community events of the school year, and the excitement was noticeable as parents and other school supporters gathered to enjoy friendships and 18 holes on a beautiful Southern California day.

Participants enjoyed food and beverages, including a latte cart at registration, a boxed lunch during the tournament, and hot dogs, ice cream and other snacks scattered throughout the course. Out on the course, the golfers participated in a $10,000 Putting Challenge, a $25,000 hole-in-one contest and various other games. The evening ended with a 19th Hole reception outside on the terrace where the attendees participated in a silent auction, raffles, and awards ceremony naming the three championship foursomes.

The tournament was presented this year by title sponsor, Innovative Integrated Health. The Tartan Open committee thanks them and the other sponsors including Rimrock Capital, Blue Sky, Custom Alloy, Tim McElfish, APC at Ferruzzo, Tom’s Famous Family Restaurant, Hardy and Harbor, Inc, Chatow Law, Roger Dunn Golf Hawaii, Roehl & Glowacki, P.C., Compak Asset Management, Coldwell Banker Realty—Janet Mitchell, Citation Capital Partners, Inc., Sundried Tomato, Paradise Bakery and Chick-Fil-A Plaza Del Obispo.
