St. Margaret's girls lacrosse defeated Canyon High School 13-10.
The Tartan girls lacrosse team gritted out a challenging game against a talented Canyon High School squad, coming away with a 13-10 win at home. Mandy Taylor was the difference-maker for St. Margaret's, with five draw controls, keeping the Tartans in possession during crucial moments in the game.
Grace Karstetter and Minka Martinez paced the Tartans with three goals and three assists each. Lauren Lam contributed five scores in the win.
"This was a hard-fought win, and I am really proud of the girls for the fight they showed," said head coach Mollie Stevens. "This was a big game for us, and the girls earned this win."
The No. 9 Tartans will face No. 4 Mater Dei on the road on Tuesday, May 11.
