St. Margaret's Celebrates Girls Soccer Seniors, Win Against Pacifica Christian
The Tartans topped the Tritons 2-0 at home.
The Tartans girls soccer team celebrated the senior student-athletes Wednesday afternoon with a 2-0 win over Pacifica Christian. Seniors Bryce Chan, Molly Green, Taylor Nock and Olivia Young were honored before kick-off on Tartan field.
St. Margaret's gritted out a tough win behind goals from Megan Kenner and Olivia Young to keep a 4-0 undefeated league record alive. Freshman keeper Riley Long notched her second consecutive shutout in the win.
"It was a great night to celebrate our four seniors with a team win," said head coach Jennifer Anderson-Hammond. "The team really rallied around Bryce, Molly, Taylor and Olivia, and showed their appreciation and what the four seniors mean to the program, to the school and the community at large."
