Tartan Boys Tennis, Soccer Programs Top Webb School

St. Margaret's had a clean sweep facing The Webb Schools on Monday.
Boys Tennis
 
St. Margaret's celebrated senior day with a 17-1 victory over Webb Monday afternoon. Senior Logan Wojcik aced his single sets while fellow senior Jack Nolet teamed with junior Charles Ihara to pick up a doubles win.
 
The Tartans will match up with Sage Hill on Friday, April 30, before advancing to the CIF postseason the following week.
 
Boys Soccer
 
The Tartans recorded a 7-0 league win over Webb on Tartan Field Monday evening. St. Margaret's was led by Hugh Eaton's five goals and one assist, while Evan Lee and Matt Groeninger added a tally each for the Tartans. Goalkeeper Justin O’Donnell recorded his second consecutive clean sheet in the win.
 
The Tartans will take on Samueli Academy on the road on April 28 at 3 p.m.
 
Girls Soccer
 
St. Margaret's traveled to Upland to take on The Webb School in a league matchup and came home with a 7-0 win. Liesel Blau, Megan Kenner and Charlotte Quintanar all notched two goals in the game, while Julia Olosky added one. Netminder Riley Long recorded the shutout.
 
"It was a great team win against Webb," said head coach Jennifer Anderson-Hammond.  "Freshman Riley Long played 80 minutes and gained great experience and got the shutout. It was an all-around solid win on the road."
 
The Tartans will celebrate senior night against Pacifica Christian at home on Wednesday, April 28, at 6 p.m.
