Recent changes to the local health and youth sports guidelines permitted St. Margaret’s Middle School to allow shared equipment for much-needed recreational time during the lunch period.

Students were able to return to the traditional favorite activities during the lunch period—football, volleyball, Frisbee, spikeball and table tennis. Per school guidelines, Chalmers Field remains divided into three separate grade-level areas, equipment is cleaned after each use and students continue to wear masks.

“Things just feel great on campus,” Middle School principal Jeannine Clarke said. “We are thankful for our families and the professional community for their efforts in helping the school continue to operate safely, so we can integrate more opportunities for our students.”
