Watch Moving Video: Healthcare Workers Send Message of Thanks to Grade 4 Students for 1,000-Crane Service Project

The healthcare workers shared a heartwarming video showing the cranes on display in the hospital with a touching thank-you message.
St. Margaret’s grade 4 students made 1,000 paper cranes as a service project last month for Kaiser Permanente in Anaheim, inspired by the book Sadako and the 1000 Cranes and a Japanese legend that promised a granted wish to anyone who folded 1,000 paper cranes.

The cranes were delivered over the holidays to wish good health to those battling COVID-19 and as a sign of peace and gratitude to lift the spirits of the front-line nurses and doctors for their tireless and selfless efforts. Upon returning from break, the grade 4 students received a thank-you from the healthcare workers at Kaiser, who shared the heartwarming video below showing the cranes on display in the hospital with a touching thank-you message.

Great job grade 4 students!
