St. Margaret’s Lower School students had the chance to immerse in a Halloween wonderland set up in the Church parking lot—a creation of St. Margaret’s Middle School technical arts students.

Arts Technical Director Gordon Richins worked with Lower School Director of Community Life Tupper Spring to create/develop an unforgettable 3D Halloween experience complete with displays of animals, pumpkins, monsters, trees, ghosts and more. The Middle School technical arts students under the direction of Mr. Richins and production assistant Spencer Keane) worked on finding Halloween pictures, projecting them to plywood, cutting them out and then painting them with rich colors. The students added bases for the cutouts to stand on their own, then assembled everything on site Thursday. The set also included props from past performing arts productions, such as The Addams Family

Lower School students visited the display in their classroom cohorts throughout the day, taking photos and enjoying the entertainment ranging from bubble machines to Halloween music.

Early Childhood School
The Early Childhood School also had a Halloween display set up in the Ingrid S. Andrews Outdoor Classroom, a setup made by the students themselves.
The costumed students visited the display as part of their Halloween celebrations within their cohorts on Friday.
