St. Margaret’s campus welcomed the joyous boost the school had long anticipated, as students in grades 7 – 12 were cleared to return to campus this week. It marked the first time since March that students in every grade and every division were on campus.

“It has been joyful to welcome our students back to campus,” Upper School Principal Jeneen Graham said. “Even with their masks, we can see the smiles in their eyes and hear their laughter in the hallways and quads.”

Grades 7 – 12 were allowed back on campus in concert with the state of California and Orange County’s guidelines for in-person learning. The older students returned Wednesday to a day of orientation, where students met by grade level and learned critical information for new health and safety procedures on campus. Students were given a chance to practice these protocols, including drop-off and the daily health screening,

The first-day of in-person classes began on Thursday using the school’s comprehensive Campus Flex Model.
