Class of 2020 Receives Hand-Delivered Commemorative Flags—See the Video!
The flags were shared as a symbol of St. Margaret’s sincere esteem, gratitude and love for the Senior Class, which has shown extraordinary perseverance, hard work and grace through this time.
Upper School administrators and Senior Class advisors conducted a surprise hand delivery of congratulatory, commemorative flags to each senior in the Class of 2020 this week, spreading much joy and love. The flags were shared as a symbol of St. Margaret’s sincere esteem, gratitude and love for the Senior Class, which has shown extraordinary perseverance, hard work and grace through this time.
Upper School Principal Jeneen Graham, who led the surprise effort with Upper School Director of Community Life Lora Allison and was part of the assembly and delivery team on Wednesday was overwhelmed by the response from the seniors and their families. “The smiling faces and the tears of joy we witnessed and participated in, are a true testament of the power and impact of our community. We were so happy to see our seniors and their families, even if it was from six feet away and donning masks and gloves. We know this time has had a unique impact on the finale of their senior year, and we wanted to do something ‘Tartan’ special to honor and celebrate them until we can be together again. On behalf of our entire St. Margaret’s community, we are all thinking of Class of 2020 and they hold a very special place in our hearts.”
