St. Margaret’s grade 4 students and their families worked in collaboration with St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church and Padres Unidos to continue its traditional service-learning “Santa’s Scottie Village” project, a holiday shopping experience for local families.

The families participate in a weekly preschool and parent education program at the Church through Padres Unidos, a non-profit group of community workers who are committed to serving low-income families in Orange Country through a variety of child, youth and family services.

Lower School families generously donated new books, pajamas and toys, and the students then set the donations up on tables to allow Padre Unidos families to shop for items. The students even provided gift-wrapping services to package the presents to take home.
