St. Margaret's Athletic Program Named Div. V State School of the Year

The Tartan athletic program captured the honor for the third time in 10 years.
St. Margaret’s has been named the Division V State School of the Year by Calhisports.com. The Tartans made the list based on the success of the cross country, soccer and lacrosse programs in 2018-2019. St. Margaret's was previously honored in 2009-2010 and 2011-2012.

St. Margaret's cross country program captured the Boys Div. V State title with the girls finishing a close second in 2018. Sophomore Jackson Adelman finished second at the state finals.

The Tartan soccer programs had a successful spring, with the girls finishing second in the CIF Finals and winning the Div. IV Socal Soccer Regional title. The boys program finished second in their CIF campaign.

Lacrosse again proved to be a powerhouse for St. Margaret's, with the girls program repeating as Orange County and Southern Section Champions and the boys winning their first Southern Section Championship since 2015.
