PTF Leaders Celebrate School Year and Look Ahead to New Leadership for 2019-2020

St. Margaret’s Parent Teacher Fellowship Executive Board closed another successful school year of school enrichment programs and events this week with the annual PTF New Board/Old Board brunch, an event that recognizes the outstanding work of the many PTF parent volunteers as well as installs the incoming 2019-2020 board.

Head of School Will Moseley and Executive Director of Advancement Jonathan Tufo both made remarks at the “appreciation and installation” event. Mr. Moseley expressed gratitude for the extraordinary work of the PTF volunteers who spent countless hours collaborating with the school to enhance the Tartan experience for all students and the fellowship and spirit of the entire school community.

Mr. Moseley and Mr. Tufo also presented a gift to 2018-2019 PTF President Jill Golubow and thanked her for her dedicated service to St. Margaret’s. The attendees also recognized the hard work of PTF office manager Beth Adamany with a long ovation.

Mrs. Golubow then officially swore in the 2019-2020 PTF President, Dana Sullivan, whose first order of business was to introduce the 2019-2020 executive board.

Mrs. Sullivan also gave a sneak peek of big plans for the 2019-2020 school year, in which St. Margaret’s and the PTF will celebrate its 40th anniversary. That includes the Forever Plaid all-school fundraiser gala, which will be moved to the fall and take place at the Balboa Bay Resort on Saturday, Nov. 16.

The mission of the PTF is to offer cultural, physical, spiritual and educational enrichment to the students, teachers and families of St. Margaret’s Episcopal School through community building and fundraising.
