The 38th annual Parent Teacher Fellowship Library Luncheon was celebrated on a picturesque spring day, as more than 400 parents and friends celebrated and generously supported St. Margaret’s last week at the Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel.

With the theme of “Printed Page to Silver Screen,” tables were beautifully decorated as tributes to literary classics that have been adapted into famous films, like The Joy Luck Club, Sense and Sensibility, Around the World in 80 Days, The Secret Garden and Winnie the Pooh

The event was co-chaired by St. Margaret’s parents Dana Melsom and Meghan Mitchell.

“The Library Luncheon is a wonderful event that brings together our special community, and this year certainly lived up to its rich history,” PTF President Jill Golubow said. “We are so thankful for all the wonderful volunteers and staff who made it possible, especially Dana and Meghan for their amazing vision and all their hard work in organizing this special day.”

The event supports the PTF Grant program and St. Margaret’s Library. Attendees could browse the “Academy Award Boutique” for a chance to win generously donated raffle items, as well as purchase special opportunity raffle tickets for Lugano Diamonds earrings, a pampered party package or for a tuition opportunity drawing.

In addition, through the “Giving Garden Roses” (pictured in the photo gallery), attendees could support the Library by purchasing beautiful handmade paper roses created from antique book pages.

“We often speak of the immeasurable value of relationships in nurturing our extraordinary school community. The Library Luncheon is a wonderful display of those treasured relationships that emerge from the love and commitment we share for our school and our students,” Head of School Will Moseley said. “We are deeply grateful to our PTF leadership, Jill, Dana, Meghan and their entire team for the vision and hard work to create such a beautiful event to bring together our community, and to all those who attended in fellowship and support of our school.”

The PTF thanks those who supported this beloved event, from underwriters and boutique donors to parent volunteers, attendees and St. Margaret’s staff including PTF Office Manager Beth Adamany.
