A group of St. Margaret’s students visited the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory last week, where they had an up-close look at some of the activities and accomplishments of the world-famous research facility.

Students learned more about the Voyager and Cassini-Huygens programs, the Mars Curiosity Rover and the Mars 2020 spacecraft currently being built at the Jet Propulsion Lab, and visited the Space Flight Operations Facility among many other stops.

Four St. Margaret’s faculty went along, including Upper School science teacher and former NASA research fellow at JPL, Dr. Eric Trumbauer.
