Charlotte Jones Named to All-SoCal Girls Soccer Team

Jones caps a tremendous 2018-2019 season with a prestigious award.
As voted on by The Southern California News Group, Charlotte Jones has been selected as a top soccer athlete and a member of the All-SoCal Girls Soccer team.

Jones, a center back for the Tartans, tallied six goals on the season, including a key free kick goal against La Salle College Prep in the CIF State Regional Final. Jones has also been named San Joaquin League Player of the Year and First-Team All-CIF.

"I have a lot of great players but without Charlotte, we don’t win 24 games, don’t reach the CIF Finals and we don’t win the CIF State Regional title," said girls soccer head coach Johnny Marmelstein. "Led by Charlotte, we are tied for fourth in the all-time CIF Record books for most shutouts in a season."
