Girls Soccer Opens SoCal Regional Play With 4-0 Win

The Tartans defeated Roosevelt High in the first round of the SoCal Regional Playoffs.
St. Margaret's got off on the right foot to begin the quest for a SoCal Soccer Regional Championship on Tuesday afternoon, downing Roosevelt High School 4-0 at Tartan Field.

The Tartans were led by juniors Juliet Ballard’s two goals while junior Charlotte Jones and sophomore Taylor Nock each scored one goal. Junior goaltender Kennedy Barlow preserved her 21st shutout of the year.

St. Margaret's will host Ramona High School in the second round of the SoCal Regionals on Thursday, Feb. 28 at 5 p.m.  Tickets will be available at the gate - $9 general admission $5 children/students/seniors.
