Melinda Keane Celebration of Life

Performing Arts Center - Marcus D. Hurlbut Theater - 1000
The Keane family extends an invitation to anyone who would like to celebrate the life of Melinda Kay Keane. The Melinda Keane Celebration of Life will be held in the Marcus D. Hurlbut Theatre in the Performing Arts Center on Saturday, June 11 from 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., conditions permitting.

Melinda was a longtime St. Margaret’s parent, dedicated performing arts volunteer and design professional who passed away on May 29, 2020 after a valiant two-year battle with brain cancer. She is celebrated by Tartans for her loving devotion leading costume design for The Arts at St. Margaret’s theater program for many years beginning in 2001. She designed, sewed and fitted costumes for countless St. Margaret’s Lower School, Middle School and Upper School productions through 2018, and touched the lives of thousands of St. Margaret’s students.

This event has been planned by Jeff and her three children, all St. Margaret’s alumni, Spencer, Class of 2010, who also currently serves as St. Margaret’s Performing Arts Production Assistant, Matilda, Class of 2012, and Olivia, Class of 2015.

Please join us to celebrate the life of Melinda and to enjoy her incredible costume creations. There will be refreshments following the program.

If you plan to attend, please send an email to celebrateMWK@gmail.com with your name and number of people attending to assist the family in planning for this event.
