We are pleased to celebrate the 43rd Annual Christmas Service: Lessons and Carols in a special presentation format outdoors on Chalmers Field. For this special one-night-only occasion, Lower School students will be joined by the Grades 6–12 band, orchestra and choral ensembles. Ensembles include: Band 6, Band 7, Concert Band, Jazz Ensemble, MS Orchestra and Symphony Orchestra, Grade 6 Chorale, Grade 7 Chorale, and Highlander Chorale.

The Lessons and Carols service in the Anglican tradition, celebrates the birth of Jesus in nine lessons and carols and has remained the same since the late 1800’s. St. Margaret's Lower School Christmas Service of Lessons and Carols was first celebrated in December 1979 and is one of the oldest traditions of the school. It began as an opportunity for our students, parents and the St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church community to worship together through the retelling of the Christmas story.

This year, the event will open with a special edition of the 14th Annual PTF Tree Lighting. All St. Margaret’s families are welcome to this special Chapel and musical celebration outdoors on Chalmers Field.
