I hope to use my years of experience in tennis to take the reigns of the program and bring league and CIF championships to the school," said Coach Lipsky.
St. Margaret's Episcopal School Director of Athletics and Physical Education Patrick Bendzick said of the hire, “It is a rare opportunity for a high school team to work with a coach of this caliber on a daily basis. Scott has reached the pinnacle of the tennis world as a player at Stanford and in his professional career. It will be exciting to see him share that vast knowledge and experience with our students as we propel the program in this new direction.”
The Tartans will take the court for the first time under coach Lipsky this fall as the varsity girls start their season on Sept. 11.
