St. Margaret's to Face Cross-Town Rival at Angel Stadium

The St. Margaret's baseball program will take on Saddleback Valley Christian in a non-league contest at Angel Stadium in Anaheim on Wednesday, April 19 at 3:30 p.m. Come support your Tartans in this unique major-league experience!
The 5-5 Tartans will bring an undefeated Academy League record to Angel Stadium on Wednesday, April 19 at 3:30 p.m. facing San Juan Capistrano rival Saddleback Valley Christian in a non-league contest. The Tartans and Warriors met last year at Angel Stadium with the Warriors coming out on top 5-3.

Entry and parking to the game are free, however, St. Margaret's is required to sell 700 ticket vouchers for $15 each. The vouchers are available in the athletic department office or Tartan Store and are good towards Angel regular season game tickets.

Fans can cheer on the Tartans from the Diamond Club section directly behind home plate, a terrific view in a Major League Baseball ballpark.

“Playing at Angel Stadium is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for most ballplayers," said Director of Athletics Patrick Bendzick. "The Angels organization is extremely generous to provide this opportunity, and it should be an exciting afternoon for our players, families and fans. Having been previously involved in the program, I can honestly say that it will be an experience that our students will never forget.”

More information about the game can be found by visiting the athletic department office, or emailing athletics@smes.org.
