Seniors and varsity football players Alex Choi, Auston Locke, Chris Krantz and Nick Krantz were honored at the Orange County chapter’s National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame’s 47th Annual Scholar-Athlete Awards Banquet on Monday.

The banquet honored 70 graduating Orange County high school and college football players for being All-League or All-Conference First Team while maintaining a grade point average of 3.6 or higher.

Tartan head football coach Stephen Barbee remarked about the group, "It is a great honor to have four student-athletes recognized for not only excelling on the athletic field but also in the classroom for the past four years."

The Tartans have consistently earned accolades from the National Football Hall of Fame including last year's honorees Taylor Freitas '16 and Samuel Harnisch '16.
