Tartan Girls Basketball Nets Win on Senior Night

St. Margaret's defeated visiting Webb 47-24.
On Monday evening, St. Margaret's girls basketball defeated visiting league opponent The Webb Schools, 47-24, in action in Pasternack Field House. The Tartans celebrated senior night, notching the win for seniors Mary Smith (8 pts.) and Mandy Taylor (7 pts.)
 
In support, Kaitlin Tam and Harper Gideons controlled the pace of the game all evening and kept the Tartan offense moving. Tam finished with 12 points, while Gideons finished the night with 13 points.
 
"Mary and Mandy have left a lasting impact on our program as they were a big part in establishing our culture this season," said head coach Josh Markum. "It was great to see them play well and go out on a positive note on their senior night."
 
The Tartans will hit the road to face Webb again on Thursday, Jan. 27, at 6 p.m.
