St. Margaret's Equestrian Program Excels at OCIEL Competition
The Tartans performed well at last weekend's events.
The Tartan equestrian program wrapped up the OCIEL season this past weekend with impressive results. The competition drew experienced riders from the Southern California area, and the Tartans were up to the challenge.
Chloe Thompson qualified as varsity jumpers high point champion, with Camryn Fisher capturing the jv jumpers high point championship. In addition, Taylor Totah was named freshman hunters high point champion for the Tartans.
"In an incredibly competitive field, our riders accomplished so much this season. Equestrian takes an enormous amount of discipline and passion to be competitive at this level, something I saw in each of our riders," said head coach Emily Morton. "The team should be very proud of their hard work and perseverance to get to this point."
