Tartan Lacrosse Athletes Garner Postseason Awards

Five St. Margaret's lacrosse student-athletes were recently tabbed as among the best at the local and national levels.
Matt Groeninger and Will Stahl were named All CIF-SS Div. I selections presented by the LA84 Foundation. Groeninger and Stahl were also selected as USA Lacrosse All-Americans as players who exhibit superior skills and techniques and possess exceptional game sense and knowledge. A USA Lacrosse All-American is one of the best players in the United States while also embodying excellent sportsmanship.
Grace Karstetter and Lauren Lam were selected as CIF-SS Div. I Girls selections as presented by the LA84 Foundation. Karstetter was also named a USA Lacrosse All-American.
Olivia Young was awarded The Jackie Pitts Award, recognizing one player from each area who goes "above and beyond" in service to her team, school, and community. USA Lacrosse oversees the selection of the awards, which are administered locally by Area Chairs. Selections are based on voting by coaches within each geographical area.
Congratulations, Tartans!
