Tartan Football Alumni Making an Impact at NCAA Div. I Programs

Class of '18 members Ryan Cragun and Marcus Knight had breakout years on a national stage.
Ryan Cragun '18 and Marcus Knight '18 have made names for themselves at their respective NCAA Div. I football programs this fall. Cragun, a wide receiver at the University of Pennsylvania, was recently named Second Team All-Ivy, catching 58 passes for 885 yards and three touchdowns in 2019. Cragun is currently ranked No.13 in the Football Championship Subdivision in receiving yards per game (98.3) and No. 16 in receptions per game (6.4). At Penn, Cragun ranks ninth all-time in receiving yards and 12th all-time in receptions. His 13 receptions against Yale ties him for fifth in program history in catches.

Knight, a running back at the University of Montana, picked up Third-Team All-Big Sky Conference honors as well as the Big Sky Newcomer of the Year award. Knight amassed 930 yards rushing and a Big Sky leading 21 touchdowns, putting him just three behind the Grizzlies' all-time single-season touchdown record. Knight will lead Montana against visiting Southeastern Lousiana in the second round of the FCS Playoffs on Saturday, Dec. 7. The game will be streamed live on the ESPN3 website.
