Varsity football players Nick Falshaw, James Mott, Langston Sholl, Alex Smith and Chris Vartanian were honored at the Orange County chapter of the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame’s 49th annual Scholar-Athlete Awards Banquet on Monday, March 11 at Great Wolf Lodge in Garden Grove.

The banquet honored 98 graduating Orange County high school and college football players for being All-League or All-Conference First Team while maintaining a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.

“What a wonderful event that honors scholar-athletes, recognized for their hard work off and on the field," said St. Margaret's head football coach Kory Minor. "What was truly impressive was the fact we had five student-athletes representing St. Margaret’s, the most in school history.”

The Tartans have consistently earned accolades from the National Football Hall of Fame including 2018 honorees Michael Chew '18, Ryan Cragun '18, Marcus Knight '18 and Max Martinez '18.
