CTAP˛

California Technology Assistance Project/California Technology Assessment Profile

What is CTAP˛?

CTAP2 is an online, self-assessment tool for educators that help teachers see what they need to learn to effectively leverage technology in the classroom.  Teachers who are obtaining their California credentials use the CTAP˛ to insure their technology skills meet state standards. This is not a test, and it does not compare your technology skills against anyone else’s. It is meant help you understand which areas of technology are your strengths and which areas can use strengthening. And by taking this assessment at regular intervals (twice yearly), you can see whether or not the training you receive is effective. Each faculty and staff member must complete this technology self-assessment by September 30th, 2004.
