Did
you know Outlook can help you with driving directions to one of your contacts?
If you have an exact address, Outlook will map out a route for you. Simply
switch to your Contacts folder and double-click to open the contact you plan to
visit. If the address doesn't appear in the Address box, click the down arrow
below the Address button and select it. Click the yellow Display Map Of Address
button, then watch as your browser window launches, takes you to Microsoft
Expedia Maps, and displays a map to the exact address.

It’s
that time of the year again when we stare at the calendar in disbelief that
school is almost over! As you prepare to bring closure to all aspects of this
year, please include technology in your list of To Do’s.
1. Save
all files to your folder on the Staf$:Drive.
2. Export
bookmarks from Internet Explorer to your folder on the Staf$:Drive.
3. Remove
all CD’s and disks from your computer before leaving for the summer.
4. Lock
up all disks and CD-ROMs.
5. Delete
all unwanted messages from your Outlook inbox, sent box, and deleted items
box.

Suppose that you have a Word document that someone else created. You would like to know what kind of formatting was used. What do you do? Just press Shift + F1 to open "What's This?" The cursor will turn to a pointer with a question mark. Now, click in any paragraph that you want to learn about. "What's This?" will open a dialog box that displays all the paragraph's formatting information.
When you're finished, press Esc to exit.

1. Open Internet Explorer.
2. Click on File.
3. Click on Import/Export.
4. Click on Next.
5. Click on Export Favorites, click on next.
6. Make sure the top folder is highlighted (favorites) and click on next.
7. Click Browse. Select the S drive.
8. Double click your folder to open.
9. Click on save.
10. Click on next.
11. Click on finish.
12. You will receive a message the favorites were exported successfully. Click OK.

Save your files to the Staf$:Drive
1. Locate your files on your C Drive. (Check in the My Documents folder)
2. Once located, select all files (CTRL A) and cut (CTRL X).
Go to your folder on the S Drive. (Double click my computer, double click the S drive. Double click your folder. Paste the files into your folder (CTRL V).
Cleaning Out
Your Outlook Mailbox
An easy way to keep
your mailbox from becoming too cluttered is to use the AutoArchive feature of
Outlook. Once you activate AutoArchive, your mailbox will remain tidy and
manageable.
Highlight the major folders in your Folder List one at a
time.

Right click
Select Properties
Select AutoArchive tab
Check “clean out items older
than 3 months.
Move old items to: click “browse” &
select S: Drive
Select and open your folder.
Save.
Apply
OK
