What about my Pictures?

 Monday - July 21, 2003 (Page 2)

  1.  First get the pictures from your disk to your folder on the network drive. You can use copy and paste with My Computer.  Insert your disk in the drive.  Double click My computer, double click the A Drive.

2.  You will see your pictures.  Use the shortcut Control A to select all.  Once selected (a blue border) use Control C to copy the photos.   They are now in temporary memory where they will be stores until you paste them into your folder.

3.  Click on the My documents icon on the left panel.

4.  You are now in My document and ready to create a new folder.  Click on File, point to New, select folder.

5.  A new folder appears, if the name is blinking blue, just type a new name.  It's best we keep our individual disk in separate folders for organization and inserting.  If the new folder still says new folder and is not blinking blue, point to the folder, right click, select rename.  One the name is blue, you can type the new name.  Remember, no slashes, no dashes, no commas, no periods.

6.  After the new folder has been created, double click to open the folder.  Use the short cut Control V to paste the contents from your disk into the new folder.
