Tartan Equestrian Has Great Showing at First IEL Weekend

St. Margaret's Equestrian team represented themselves very well this past weekend.
NOVICE:

Delany Frost was 4th in her Novice equitation on the flat class and 10th in the novice hunters under saddle class. Sunday, Delany was 5th in flat equitation class and 9th in the under saddle class.

Whitney Riley won both her novice equitation on the flat and novice under saddle hunter classes Saturday and Sunday. She placed 4th in novice equitation over fences and 3rd in the OCIEL medal class on Saturday. On Sunday, over fences Whitney was 7th in her equitation class, 6th in her hunter class, and 2nd in her OCIEL medal. She ended up being novice hunter/equitation Reserve Champion Saturday and Sunday.

Madeleine Edwards on Saturday placed 2nd in her novice hunter over fences and hunter under saddle, 4th in the novice OCIEL medal, 6th in her equitation over fences and 9th in her equitation on the flat class. On Sunday, Maddie was 2nd in her hunter over fences class, 3rd in her OCIEL medal, 5th in both the hunter under saddle class and equitation over fences class and 10th in the equitation on the flat class.

FRESHMAN:

Grace Giusto only showed on Saturday, placing 3rd in both freshman hunters over fences and hunters under saddle classes. Grace placed 4th in the OCIEL medal class and was 5th in both the equitation over fences and equitation under saddle classes.

JV:

Julia Pintar placed well Saturday receiving 2nd in JV hunters over fences and 2nd in the hunter under saddle class. Julia was 4th in the OCIEL medal, 10th in equitation over fences, and 8th in equitation on the flat. On Sunday, Julia won her hunter under saddle class, 2nd in her equitation over fences, 3rd in her hunter over fences, 4th in her OCIEL medal class and 5th in her equitation on the flat class. Laila Klinsmann won her JV OCIEL medal, her hunter over fences and her hunter under saddle classes. Laila was 2nd in her equitation over fences class. She was the JV hunter/equitation overall Champion on Saturday.

Team captain Elika Miller placed well on Saturday, receiving 4th in her JV working hunter class, 10th in her hunter under saddle class, and 11th in her equitation on the flat class. On Sunday, Elika was 3rd in her hunter under saddle class, 7th in her hunter over fences class, 9th in her OCIEL medal and 11th in her equitation over fences class.

VARSITY:

Madison Golledge was getting used to a new horse this weekend. On Saturday she was 9th in her varsity equitation and hunter over fences, 7th in the varsity hunter under saddle and 11th in equitation on the flat. On Sunday, Maddison was 7th in the varsity OCIEL medal, 8th in her equitation over fences class, and 9th in both the hunters over fences and hunters under saddle classes.

Anna Moellenhoff won both her varsity jumpers on Saturday and was 3rd in both jumper classes on Sunday.

Logan Tomaselli was only able to show on Sunday. She won her equitation on the flat class, was 2nd in her hunter under saddle class, 4th in her working hunters class, and 7th in her equitation over fences class. ​
