Tartan Defense Stays Perfect in 52-0 Win Over Nordhoff High School

St. Margaret's defense was unmatched in the lopsided road win.
The Tartans held the Nordhoff Rangers to 92 total yards in Saturday night's 52-0 victory. The defensive effort was led by senior James Eidt's six tackles, four assists and one sack. Senior linebacker Logan Smith contributed five tackles while sophomore Duke Ballard had four tackles, one sack and a blocked kick in the win.
 
Offensively, the Tartans amassed 423 yards on 52 plays. Quarterback George Krantz was efficient, with 22/27 passing on 397 yards and six touchdowns. Senior receiver Auston Locke had a big night with eight catches for 165 yards and two touchdowns. Ryan Cragun added six catches for 101 yards and two touchdowns while Nick Krantz and Marcus Knight added a receiving touchdown each.
 
The Tartans will enjoy the upcoming bye week and return to action at home against Brethren Christian on Friday, October 28.
