St. Margaret’s Recognized at San Juan Summer Nites

The free concert series in San Juan Capistrano has been supported by St. Margaret's since its inception.
During a break in the action at the San Juan Summer Nites concert series on Wednesday, St. Margaret’s Head of School Will Moseley accepted a plaque of appreciation from San Juan Capistrano Mayor Pam Patterson with more than 1,000 concert-goers in attendance.

St. Margaret’s has been an annual sponsor of the free, open to the public concert series put on by the City of San Juan Capistrano since the event’s inception in 2003. The series, a favorite of residents, takes place each month of the summer at Historic Town Center Park and features live music, a local business expo, food and beverage booths and free activities for kids including a bounce house and face painting, with attendees picnicking and dancing the night away.

Mr. Moseley thanked Mayor Patterson and expressed gratitude for the longstanding partnership between St. Margaret’s and the City of San Juan Capistrano.

“This is such a treasured community event and we are proud to sponsor this event each year since its inception,” Mr. Moseley said. “We love our hometown of San Juan Capistrano and always look for ways to give back.”

With many members of the St. Margaret’s community on hand, Wednesday’s show featured a performance by the Blue Breeze Band, which played R&B, soul and funk music ranging from the 1960s to today.
