St. Margaret’s Episcopal School Head of School William N. Moseley was named to the Governing Board of the National Association of Episcopal Schools. Mr. Moseley was elected to the board in April and will serve a three-year term that began on July 1 and will conclude on June 30, 2019.

This appointment aligns with Mr. Moseley’s deep passion and commitment for St. Margaret’s Episcopal identity and its essential role in shaping the lives of St. Margaret’s students. As a Governing Board member, he will work alongside other national Episcopal school leaders in supporting the strong network of Episcopal schools throughout the nation.

“I am honored by the opportunity to serve the Episcopal school community and offer leadership, guidance and support to NAES sister schools,” said Mr. Moseley. “I believe that our Episcopal identity and mission set the foundation and springboard for the incredible work we do in educating our young people and preparing them for the future. I am inspired through this appointment to find new ways to advance the role of our Episcopal identity.”

The NAES supports, serves and advocates for the vital work and ministry of nearly 1,200 episcopal schools in the United States—including St. Margaret’s--by providing essential services, resources, conferences and networking opportunities. The 20-person board of the NAES provides strategic direction for, and oversight of, the Association’s mission, ministry and work.

Mr. Moseley joined St. Margaret’s as Head of School in 2013. He has spent more than 30 years in independent school education overall, including 12 years as headmaster of The Ensworth School in Nashville, Tenn.
