Boys Lacrosse Coach Glen Miles Named National Lacrosse Hall of Fame Inductee

Boys' Head Coach Glen Miles has been named a member of the 2016 induction class for the National Lacrosse Hall of Fame by the U.S. Lacrosse Board of Directors. Miles will be officially inducted on Saturday, September 10, at the Grand Lodge in Hunt Valley, Md.
Boys' Head Coach Glen Miles has been named a member of the 2016 induction class for the National Lacrosse Hall of Fame by the U.S. Lacrosse Board of Directors. Miles will be officially inducted on Saturday, September 10, at the Grand Lodge in Hunt Valley, Md.

Miles, a three-time All-American midfielder at the United States Naval Academy, was selected as the collegiate national midfielder of the year in 1986. He was a member of the world champion 1990 U.S. Men's National Team and served as an alternate on the 1986 team while also being active as a post-collegiate player with the Mt. Washington Lacrosse Club. He has been previously inducted into the United States Naval Academy Hall of Fame (1986) and the U.S. Lacrosse Greater Baltimore Chapter Hall of Fame (2008).

At St. Margaret's, Coach Miles has led the Tartans to two U.S. Lacrosse Southern Section Championships and was named OCVarsity.com Coach of the Year in 2013 and 2015.

Coach Miles joins more than 400 lacrosse greats honored in the Hall of Fame, located at the National Lacrosse Museum in Sparks, Md.
