US Cheerleaders Host LS Cheer Clinic
Posted October 12
On Saturday, October 8th the Tartan Cheerleaders, along with Coach Jamie McCann and Coach Paige Gammell, had a successful evening of cheering on the Tartans, inspiring future cheerleaders and raising funds for an important cause.
Forty-five lower school participants from grades 1-5 participated in a cheer clinic, more than doubling the number of participants from last year. The lower school cheerleaders learned kicks, jumps, cheers and a dance from the US Cheerleaders which they later performed at halftime of the varsity football game. The cheer team is donating the clinic profit of $700.00 to Susan G. Komen for the Cure. This organization has invested more than $1.9 billion in the fight against breast cancer with events like the Komen Race for the Cure.
Congratulations to the Tartan Cheerleaders on another successful cheer clinic!
