Middle School students are assigned an advisor who acts as a mentor and advocate for the student. Students meet periodically with their advisor to review their academic progress. Each advisory group participates in a community service project.

Through their advisory group, students are expected to participate in Washington DC fundraising activities sponsored by the Middle School. Such obligations are infrequent but vital for the success of the program. Proceeds from the activities create an emergency fund for families and also create a fund for each student’s expenses not covered by the trip fees.

Middle School Student Council

The executive board of the Middle School Student Council is elected in the spring of the preceding year with class representatives elected in the fall of the current school year. Mrs. Lora Allison is the advisor to the council.
