Supporting St. Margaret's Episcopal School
St. Margaret’s Episcopal School has been able to thrive and excel thanks to the foresight and philanthropy of parents, faculty, staff, alumni and friends who embrace the school mission. All gifts to St. Margaret’s help to advance the mission of the school to educate the hearts and minds of young people for lives of learning, leadership and service.
Like all independent schools, St. Margaret’s relies on a combination of tuition revenue and private support to secure the present through annual gifts for operating expenses, as well as ensure the future through gifts that support capital improvements and the endowment.
Private support is essential for excellence. Your financial gifts ensure the school’s ability to continue to offer the programs that prompted you to choose St. Margaret’s as the best educational option for your family. You can make a significant difference in the life of St. Margaret’s and help make us stronger. Gifts of all sizes add up to significant support for the school, and each gift makes a difference.
You can make an impact today by making a gift — a gift to St. Margaret’s is a gift to the students.
Giving Opportunities
Annual Fund
The Annual Fund is the foundation of St. Margaret’s fundraising efforts. Participation in this fund at any level demonstrates our community’s belief in the school’s commitment to preparing its students and fulfilling its mission.
Annual gifts help sustain and balance the school’s operating budget and enhance programs like the arts and athletics, classroom technology improvements and teacher professional development, and tuition assistance programs for those families in need. Participation in the Annual Fund is the most important factor when considering a gift. More
Building on the Promise Capital Campaign
The Building on the Promise Capital Campaign helps ensure the future of St. Margaret’s Episcopal School by expanding and improving the school’s physical plant in accordance with the master campus development plan. The current expansion plan includes a new Performing Arts Center, currently under construction; a new Middle School campus; the redesign of Sillers Hall as a full-service, health-conscious kitchen and dining hall; and renovation and expansion of St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church sanctuary and the Fountain Courtyard. Planned Giving
Planned giving allows you to make charitable gifts now or after your lifetime while enjoying financial benefits for yourself. Unlike cash donations, these gifts require some planning and are typically made from assets in your estate rather than disposable income. Planned gifts can help you safeguard your financial security, realize tax advantages, and contribute to the school’s future financial well-being. More
