St. Margaret’s Episcopal School is now accepting résumés and/or applications for an opening in the division this coming fall. We are seeking teachers who are collaborative educators and excellent communicators, with experience and a clear understanding of Understanding by Design and Differentiated Instruction. As a technology-rich school candidates must be comfortable with using technology in the classroom. Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s Degree (a Master’s is preferred), a clear California Teacher Credential and 2 — 3 years’ full-time classroom teaching experience is preferred. Upper School Science Teachers
St. Margaret’s Episcopal School is now accepting résumés and/or applications for two openings in the Science Department of the Upper School Division this coming fall - one Physics and one Biology position. We are seeking teachers who are collaborative educators and excellent communicators, with experience and a clear understanding of Understanding by Design and Differentiated Instruction. As a technology-rich school candidates must be comfortable with using technology in the classroom. Qualified candidates for the Biology position will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology (a Master’s Degree and a clear California Teacher Credential are preferred but not required). The qualified candidate will have 5+ years’ full-time classroom teaching experience. For the Physics position the teacher will teach through AP Physics with some robotics and engineering. The qualified candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Physics or a related field (again a Masters and Credential are preferred) and will have 5+ year of full-time classroom teaching experience. St. Margaret’s Episcopal School is now accepting résumés and/or applications for a 2/5ths (Part-Time — school year) teaching position in the Computer Science Department of the Upper School Division this coming Fall. We are seeking teachers who are collaborative educators and excellent communicators, with experience and a clear understanding of Understanding by Design and Differentiated Instruction. The qualified candidate will have a degree in technology (Computer Science a plus) and some prior teaching experience in JAVA and AP Computer Science is also preferred. Science Internship
St. Margaret’s Episcopal School has an opening for a Science Intern for 2012-13 school year. Only applicants with a BA or BS in Science will be considered. A California Teaching credential is a plus. This is an Internship; however, it is an ideal situation for a recent college graduate who is ultimately seeking a career in teaching. This is a Sept. — June position with Summer School possible in 2012.
