
"I missed the meeting" info page
February 10, 2004:We took our picture and we decided that our next project is going to be a car wash that will take place in a few weeks.
December 13, 2004: We decided that our goal for over the break was for everyone to bring in $25 to the first meeting after break. If EVERYONE in the club does this, then we will be that much closer to our own build.
November 15, 2004: Today we decided that our fundraiser for the month will be a bake sale on Monday. We will have bagels, donuts, brownies, Orange Juice and Audrey is going to bring some really yummy baked good. Posters have been put up. We also decided that we will do a joint build with St. Margaret's Church, where we will pay for half, and they will pay for the other half etc. That build is in May, so we have until May to raise about $2,000. We will be doing a fundraiser every month till then. And Carly Andler is our new Fundraising Coordinator, so if you have any ideas for fundraising, talk to her or an officer. We need to have a meeting next week, it was going to be on Friday, but we don't have school so maybe Tuesday? Email me and let me know. Please help out with selling the goods at our bake sale, you will get mucho Corazon Points!
Sept 28, 2004: Our first meeting happened. We elected officers for all the positions, which include President, Build Coordinator Team, Website Updater (me), Information- Spreader, and other really important positions. After that Torrey gave a brief intro of what we do as a club for the newbie's and described Corazon Points. This is so people that come to the meetings more get to actually participate in more builds, because people who come to the most meetings and participate in the most fundraisers will have the most corazon points, and people with lots of points will be given priority to come to the builds. Pretty soon a page will be linked to the homepage so that all the members can view their points.
