                                                       Get Connected

Classroom Connect brings together K-12 educators from around the world at conferences presented several times a year.
Attendees receive top-notch instruction on how to introduce online connectivity to their schools and classrooms, how to
creatively incorporate the use of the Internet to deliver better instruction to their students, and how to make more effective
use of the Internet as a research and resource tool to meet the growing educational needs of students today.

There will be a Connected Classroom Conference in Long Beach from November 28-30 at the Hyatt Regency. This is an
exciting way to add to your technology training hours. For more information on workshops being presented, the schedule of

Did you know...

The SMES server is connected to the Atomic Clock in Washington, D.C.? Each time you log off and on, you've reset the time on your computer to the official U.S. time. This public service is provided by the Time and Frequency Division of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). It uses Coordinated Universal Time from the national time scale as its time reference. If you would like to learn more about time, visit their amazing "Time Exhibits" which includes information on The History of Timekeeping; calendars and the sytem of counting days, months and years; the illustrated mechanisms of famous clocks; etc.
