If I Were President for a Day...
I would help our country by helping the army. I would help the people in the tsunami by giving them food and giving them money to build them new homes. by Amira
I would have a nice but quick breakfast. Then I would be driven to a meeting about laws and the troubles in the world. I would visit a military hospital to talk to the wounded soldiers. I would then fly to Utah and have lunch on the plane, and my family is with me because I'm going to Utah for a dinner party. After I finish dinner and some other things I will go back to the White House. by Sophie
I would help the people in the tsunami and I would buy them houses and build a wall just in case it happens again. One other thing I would do is try to feed the people that are hungry. I would make sure that there are no more wars. I might buy 2 boat loads of candy and ice cream and yu-gi-oh cards. by Carter
I would make the world a better place by trying to end wards, trying to make more mountain biking trails, and get more people outside to go biking, skiing, play basketball, baseball, water skiing, wake boarding, climbing, hiking, and playing volleyball. I would make a foundation for the poor people, and give stuff to them like money, toys, milk, water, and stuff to survive. I would do the same with animals. by Matthew

I would give speeches to the United States of America. In my speeches I would talk about no tobacco and no drugs anywhere, having freedom, no wars, and more baseball fields. I would talk about our forefathers and how they made freedom. Freedom is important because it let's people live the way they want too. I would talk about taxation like Ronald Reagan. He said taxation is like plucking the feathers off of a bird but then we realize the bird has no feathers left. by Preston
I would want to put a smile on everybody's face. I would work for peace all over the earth. I would send food to poor, hungry people. I would put all the bad people in jail for stealing things. I would make sure all kids are happy and are nice to each other. Everybody would be friends. I know I would be a good president. by Anja
I would make the rule of no smoking, that all the schools had to write stories all day, that every child gets to go to school, and that everybody gets to get a goldfish. by Brent
I would say that there will be no wars. Everyone will live ok in their homes and live safe in the world. The president's don't have to quite their jobs. Everyone in the world loves the presidents. The plants and flowers would not die and everything in the world would not die too. I would look and see if everybody is healthy and ok. by Lindsay

I would help people. I would lower the taxes, help people in trouble and find people jobs. I would visit famous places. The places I would go would be England and Outback of Australia. i would really like to see Rome! I would also make speeches at colleges. As president I would also visit places. I would go to schools and visit children. I would go to hospitals to help people who were sick. But probably the best thing about being a president is going to parties. I would give the poor people money because I don't want them to live on the streets or be hungry. I would stop the war because I don't want anybody to get hurt and I want the soldiers to go back to their families. I would make people clean up all the trash so that there is no more pollution.
