Girls Varsity Soccer Advances to CIF-SS Semi-Finals (Girls Varsity Soccer)

Once again the Girls Varsity Soccer team has reached the CIF-SS semi-final playoff contest. The Tartans battled hard to defeat Segerstrom High School in penalty kicks on Friday February 24, 2012. After ending regulation and 20 minutes of overtime with no score the always prepared Tartans won 3-2 on PK's with a thrilling stop by goal keeper Ellie Schwartz. The team will play at San Dimas HS on Tuesday February 28, 2012 at 3:00 pm. This is a rematch of the 2011 CIF-SS Championship game were the Tartans won by a score of 2-0.
